Sawyer Design Build will be at the West Metro Community Remodeling Fair on Sunday, Feb. 28, 2010, at the Eisenhower Community Center in Hopkins.

Bring along your plans and we’ll be happy to answer any questions you may have. And if you don’t have plans, that’s okay too. With our experience, we can guide you through the entire remodeling process, from concept to completion. That’s why we put the “Design” in Sawyer Design Build!

All about windows

In a few weeks, I will be heading north, to the lovely town of Warroad, for a two day seminar at Marvin Windows. This will be my second chance to view their impressive factory, and learn about all the new features and benefits that Marvin Windows has to offer.

There are many quality windows out there, and Sawyer Design Build will be happy to help you find the right brand to fit your needs. Flexibility in changing times

With the changing economy, I believe flexibility is the key to a remodeler’s success. Being a smaller company has required us to remain adaptable and poised to handle projects of all types.

As you can see from our photo gallery, we do love our kitchens! But we’ve always been out there installing windows and doors, roofing and siding.

This year, we are expecting to do even more energy-focused projects. And as the federal government is continuing the window and door tax credit though 2010, now just might be the perfect time for you to give us a call!

Those ever-changing codes

We are looking forward to another year of great remodeling. In preparation for the new year, I will soon be attending yearly continuing education classes that are required of anyone holding a contractor’s license.

All licensed contractors must remain up-to-date in their knowledge of the building codes, including having special training in the codes relating to energy.

Hiring a licensed remodeler is a must if you want to ensure that your project will be built to the highest standards by a knowledgeable craftsman. Skimping on this investment now could find you paying dearly in the future!
